The following letter is in response to an article about the closing of The Source headquarters, published Feb. 9.
So, now we find out that The Source is closing its Barrie facility.
First we find that Bell is shutting down many radio stations across Canada and laying off hundreds. (Barrie has survived these closings.) Now they’re laying off those working in one of our large factories. When will it stop?
And, this is after the Canadian government has given them millions. I personally don’t see this as I will never have an overpriced Bell system of any kind in my home.
I say Bell must give back most of these millions. What have they been used for? Bonuses for the upper-echelon executives?
