A body has been found at a three-storey complex in the Cedar Point Drive and Edgehill Drive area.
Police received a call this morning at 10:57 a.m. about a deceased male at 141 Edgehill Dr.
Barrie police communications coordinator Peter Leon told BarrieToday that the investigation is ongoing but the incident doesn’t appear to be suspicious.
“The coroner has attended and has requested a post-mortem examination, so we anticipate that will take place tomorrow,” said Leon. “At this point it doesn’t appear to be suspicious in nature but until the post-mortem is concluded, there will be a police presence in the area."
