One person was taken to hospital following a standoff with police Monday night in Alliston.
At about 8:45 p.m., Nottawasaga OPP responded to a report of someone making threats and refusing to leave a residence on Elm Street.
Police cordoned off the area and were able to “peacefully conclude the incident.” One person was taken to hospital “for further assessment and support,” police said in a news release.
