BradfordToday received the following letter from Steven Kaszab regarding the upcoming election in June:

The Conservative Government of Doug Ford is patting themselves on the back these days, promoting the Covid-19 numbers, which they say are way down.

Of course this same administration is not counting the numbers anymore, or at least not publicizing these figures to the electorate. We are presently in another lock down, and we truly do not know how the spread of the virus is going down. No numbers, no concrete messaging, no trust.

The election in June has become the king of the mountain, top drawer in Ontario. While all political parties are trying desperately to promote themselves and their platforms, the Conservative Party puts limits upon their members and their political competitor's electioneering. The People of Ontario are sick of computers and the multiple messages found upon them.

The children will surely be schooling themselves online for months to come. Over half of the population are working online daily. If you see a message from the Liberal or NDP many will not take them under consideration, since the messaging from the Conservatives, who are in power truly count. Messaging regarding public services, the lockdown, financial assistance for businesses and private individuals, education, medical messaging and Covid-19 spread.

Every administration that was in power at the time of a crisis or war was seemingly re-elected. Will that happen here in Ontario? Can Premier Ford do a cake walk back into Queen's Park in June? While the numbers of support for the Liberals and NDP increase, will this increase surely result in a Conservative Minority Government?

We all wait with limited expectations and hope for a better future.
