NEWS RELEASE
INNISFIL IDEALAB AND LIBRARY
*************************
Attention crafts people, makers, creatives, and techie tinkerers of all kinds. We are on the hunt for creative people, marvellous projects, and wondrous ideas to exhibit at MakerFest ’22 to be held in-person at the Innisfil ideaLAB and Library, Lakeshore branch, 967 Innisfil Beach Rd., Saturday, Sept. 24.

MakerFest is a community show-and-tell event that highlights local talent and creates community connections. We bring together educators, entrepreneurs, artists and engineers as they unveil their latest creations, and provide interactive activities. This event inspires the next generation of creative makers by creating opportunities to explore and discover new skills, interests or activities. The possibilities are amazing.

Free for both makers to exhibit and for the public to attend, this is bound to be a day of community connection and creativity. Don’t miss out on the opportunity to showcase your skills and talents. We are encouraging exhibits that are interactive and/or highlight the process of making.

Want to get involved? Submit your information online at www.innisfilidealab.ca/makerfest22

Deadline for submissions is July 20.
