From InnServices Utilities Inc. and The Town of Innisfil:

On Thursday, November 26, 2020 between 5 p.m. and 10 a.m Friday, InnServices operational staff will be continuing maintenance work on the Bradford Transmission line. To ensure the safety of the workers, water pressure will need to be lowered which will result in a service interruption to Gilford.

InnServices will be providing bottled water to impacted residents to assist in accommodating household needs during the shut down. The bottled water will be available for pick-up at the water plant located at 2155 25th Side Rd, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. on November 25 and November 26. There will be a limit of 2 cases per household, and proof of address will be required.

When water is restored you may experience air in plumbing or discolouration in water. We would recommend you refrain from water consumption activities till discolouration is gone.We recommend that you run your cold water taps for a few minutes to flush out any sediment which may have accumulated within your water service line and any air trapped in the line.

We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your cooperation. If you have any concerns please contact the Town of Innisfil Customer Service Department Monday - Friday 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m at 705-436-3710. If you have an emergency after hours please contact South Simcoe Police at 705-436-2141.
