The Lavender Polo Farm, spreading across 155 acres in the township of East Gwillimbury, is now open and ready for bookings.

With 100,000 of both English and Spanish lavenders, alongside other flowers, the farm aims "to bring you an unprecedented display of floriculture," according to a news release.

"Lavender Polo offers the premier lavender farm experience in all of Ontario, our farm is the closest and largest available for customers in Toronto and the GTA," according to its website.

The facility features weekly farmer/vendor markets, weekly yoga sessions, monthly events, weekly performances, and lavender picking. Equestrian facilities and a family friendly playground are also in the works.

The farm currently holds four different species of lavender totalling more than 100,000 plants. Private event and wedding venue hire are available.

Lavender Polo Farm will once again be partnering with local charities and non-profit organizations to fundraise and host events. In 2022 Lavender Polo Farm and TalkSuicide jointly hosted the annual Lavender Picking Festival, raising money and awareness for mental health in Canada. To book, visit here.
