The Stevenson Memorial Hospital (SMH) Auxiliary is thrilled to announce that $8,442 was raised during their recent Tag Days on June 10 and 11 across numerous locations in Alliston, Angus, Beeton, Tottenham and Cookstown.

This is the largest amount that has ever been raised by the auxiliary during their Tag Day fundraising.

A special thank you to the Church of the Evangelists in Tottenham for contributing $1,000 and CIBC in Alliston for donating $200 towards the cause.

“We are very thankful for the generous contributions made by our local community in support of equipment needs at Stevenson Memorial Hospital,” says Gary Munro, president, Stevenson Memorial Hospital Auxiliary. “This was our return to Tag Day fundraising since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, which has made fundraising events a challenge. It means a lot to us to see this kind of support after putting a majority of our fundraising and volunteering support on hold.”

The SMH Auxiliary is looking forward to returning to the hospital to support patients, visitors and staff later this month.
