Residents of Innisfil are invited to treat themselves to some tasty specials while supporting local restaurants during InnisFULL, which will run from Feb. 3-17, 2023.

“The restaurants are always the first ones to help the community,” said Coun. Jennifer Richardson.

She explained that local businesses and eateries always support community events like the Halloween Home Decorating Contest and Light It Up Innisfil, initiatives Richardson started during the COVID-19 pandemic. Upon realizing that business for restaurants tends to slow between January and March of each year, she decided to start InnisFULL, which was inspired by Barrielicious.

Restaurant owners have told Richardson that the two-week event, which is now in its third year, helps increase revenue for take-out and dine-in specials.

“If I can get a few extra people in their doors, that’s all that matters,” Richardson said.

Every participating restaurant will be sharing an InnisFULL special offer throughout the event, so customers may choose to order from restaurants they haven’t frequented and expand their culinary palate by trying different dishes.

As in past years, there will be giveaways and draws associated with InnisFULL before and after the event on Facebook, including items such as gift cards.

InnisFULL is open to all restaurants based in Innisfil, and there is no fee to sign up. Restaurant owners can sign up to participate until the event begins on Feb. 3, but here is a list of local restaurants that have signed up so far:

  • Dilli Chaat
  • Sunset Grill
  • Eggsmart
  • Subway (Stroud)
  • Domino's Pizza (Innisfil)
  • In-Sushi
  • Freshii
  • The Cove Café
  • Johnny Burger
  • A Taste of Europe
  • The Fork and Plate Family Grill
