(February 2, 1941 – February 15, 2021) – It is with saddened hearts that the family announces Jackie’s passing after a short illness. Loving wife of John. Cherished mother of Kimberley, Karyn, Robert and Kathy. Adored  grandmother of Travis, Danielle, Logan, Raiden and Galit. She will be sincerely missed by loved ones and friends. Born and raised in Toronto, Jackie met her husband John in 1960. They were married in 1961 and shared the next 60 wonderful years together. While keeping busy in a community hockey program in North York, she somehow still found the time to raise their four children. Jackie and John retired and moved to Barrie in 1997 to be with their children and grandchildren. Jackie was a regular visitor to Florida who also enjoyed her travels to the Caribbean, Mexico, Europe and Hawaii. Her idea of the “perfect vacation” was sitting in a lounge chair watching the waves roll in at Daytona Beach, her favourite place of all. She kept a suitcase half packed all the time ready to go. Jackie loved taking a cruise as well. She’s now travelling first class on that final cruise into a beautiful sunset. Due to the COVID pandemic, a private family service will take place and a celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Make a Wish Canada through the INNISFIL FUNERAL HOME, 7910 Yonge Street (Stroud).

“Jackie you will forever be my ‘Harvest Moon.’” – John
