Passed away peacefully at Simcoe Manor, Beeton on Monday December 6th, 2021. “Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away” Revelation 21.1 A joyful service of worship and thanksgiving for Jean’s life on earth and in heaven, was held at the Simcoe Free Church Thornton on Saturday December 18th, 2021. Jean resided in the Cookstown, Alliston and Beeton area over her 101 years. She was a dear friend to many people during her long life. Her physical limitations did not affect her sharp mind or spirit.
Jean remembered an amazing number of people, often their birthdays & life stories as well. She also remembered them in her prayers. It must have taken a lot of her time to pray for so many. Jean had a special connection with little children, sharing smiles ,hugs & laughter with them at church. She appreciated any kindness shown her and was very grateful for the wonderful care she received at Simcoe Manor, Beeton. Jean had a blessed assurance that her Lord and friend Jesus Christ was with her always and that one day He would welcome her into heaven .She has arrived! (Arrangements entrusted to the Paul F.
