Francis Ramkaran, called to be with his Lord and Saviour on Thursday, May 18, 2023. He was born on October 4, 1962, in Trinidad and Tobago to George and Daisy (both deceased). Francis passed away suddenly at the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre in Barrie.

He lived a life full of many accomplishments and an abundance of love for his family. Known for his passion, Francis was fascinated with computers and had held many jobs throughout his life. He was always eager to learn and kept himself up-to-date with the newest technologies.

Francis's strong Christian faith played an important role in how he lived his life. Always loving and trusting, he sincerely cared about others above himself. These values were evident in everything he did, every interaction he had, and every life he touched.

One of Francis's proudest accomplishments was his dedication to volunteering in his church. His selflessness shone through as he glistened as a beacon of hope in the community. He was known for going above and beyond when expressing care towards others.

The visitation will be held at the Barrie Victory Centre, 80 Prince William Way, Barrie on May 23, 2023, at 12:00 pm (noon), followed by a captivating Celebration of Life at 1:00 pm to remember Francis' wonderful life qualities. Interment will take place at Innisvale Cemetery in Innisfil following the Celebration of Life.

Francis will be missed ever so dearly by his wife Nikolina; children Ruby Frances (Dru), Genevieve Adora, Abigail Joy, Immanuel Francis, and Raphael Lucas; his grandchildren Dezeraux, Hercules, Sapphire, and Daxzon; siblings Emmanuel ("Joe") Ramkaran (Leela), Paul Ramkaran (Sherry-Ann), Steve Ramkaran, Peter Ramkaran, Maria Velasquez (Randy), Esther Harnarine (late Rodney), Anna (Glen), Petula DiLido (Joe), and predeceased by George and Margaret.

Francis Ramkaran was a compassionate soul whose unconditional love filled every room he entered. He leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, charity, and laughter.
