Of Innisfil, passed away suddenly at Toronto General Hospital on
Monday, June 28th, 2021 in his 49th year, after 42 days in the ICU battling Covid-19.

Devoted Father of Taylor and Ashley. Lovingly remembered by Michelle Scott.
Dearest Son of Bill Scott (the late Yvonne). Sadly missed by his Brother Kyle Scott (Jody), and Nephews Connor, Cade and Riley. Cherished friend of Courtney Belford.
Troy will be sadly missed and fondly remembered
by his many relatives, friends and employees.

Troy is now reunited with his beloved family dog Border who sadly passed June 17th. Troy was born and raised in Stroud, attending Sunnybrae Public School (where his daughters also attended), and played football at Barrie Central Collegiate. Troy was affectionately known by several nicknames, “Worm”, “T-Bone”, and “Egg”, and was an avid golfer. At age 13, Troy started working at the Stroud IGA, eventually owning multiple stores in Cookstown and Creemore. In 2017, he fulfilled a lifelong dream and became the owner of the Stroud Foodland. Troy was a pillar of the
community, known for his generosity and community support.

At Troy’s and the family’s request, cremation has taken place.
A private family funeral will be held this Saturday, July 17th 2021.
A celebration of Troy’s life will be announced at a later date.

As expression of sympathy, donations to
the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre
would be appreciated by the family.
