28-year-old man dead following collision on Highway 400

Witnesses are being asked to contact the OPP

A 28-year-old man is dead following a collision on Highway 400 in Innisfil on Wednesday night. 

Accoring to Ontario Provincial Police's Highway Safety Division, a single vehicle crash occurred in the southbound lane at Innisfil Beach Road on July 15, causing the driver to hit the guardrail, with his vehicle ending up facing the wrong way. 

A red vehicle driving southbound approaching then collided with the first vehicle. The driver of the first vehicle, Andrew Therrien, 28, Sagmamok Anishnawbek First Nation was pronounced dead at the scene. 

The driver of the second vehicle was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
