Bradford restaurant charged for violating emergency orders

BRADFORD - A Bradford restaurant has been charged after South Simcoe Police Service responded to a compliance check call.

On Thursday, May 13, 2021 at approximately 8:40 p.m., police were dispatched to Minho Restaurant and Catering on Holland Street West after receiving a report about a group of people eating and being served inside the restaurant. As a result of the investigation, the business was served with a Provincial Offences Notice for violating emergency orders.

South Simcoe Police Service will continue to educate, and where necessary, enforce the stay-at-home orders to help keep our communities safe and to support our local health and by-law units. Everyone needs to do their part to prevent the spread of this deadly virus.
