Innisfil driver faces impaired charges after hit-and-run collision

Police say they responded to a report that a driver had hit several parked cars on the street then drove away

On Thursday, May 20, 2021, at approximately 4:45 a.m., South Simcoe Police Service officers were called to a report of a hit-and-run collision in Innisfil.

The caller reported that a driver had hit several parked cars on the street then drove away.

Police conducted a traffic stop in the area of Innisfil Beach Road and Ferguson Street and the driver was arrested.  

There were no injuries.

As a result of the investigation, 27-year-old Georgia Crane of Innisfil was charged with:

  • Dangerous operation,
  • Operation while impaired,
  • Operation while impaired - Excess blood alcohol,
  • Drive motor vehicle - No licence and fail to remain.  

Her licence was suspended for 90 days and her vehicle impounded for seven days.
