Innisfil resident one of four charged in connection with murder investigation in Vaughan

Investigators with the York Regional Police Homicide Unit have charged four people in connection with a homicide in the City of Vaughan.

On Feb. 25, 2021, at approximately 8 a.m., officers received a call regarding a body located at the end of a dead end street on Teston Road at Rodinea Road, just east of Keele Street. When officers arrived, they located an adult male who was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The victim was identified as Gus Kouboules, 57, of Richmond Hill.

Investigators with the York Regional Police Homicide Unit have arrested and charged four people in relation to the murder.

CHARGED: 

  • Dimitrie Tremblay, 27, of City of Toronto 
  • Ricardo Silva, 43, of the City of Vaughan 
  • Giovanni Seminara, 53, of the Town of Innisfil

CHARGES: 

  • First degree murder 

CHARGED:

  • Kevin Palmer-Konye, 26, of the City of Vaughan 

CHARGES:

  • Theft of a motor vehicle 
  • Accessory after the fact to murder

The accused have been held in custody and will be appearing before the Ontario Court of Justice in Newmarket for bail hearing.
