None injured as drug store wall damaged by tractor trailer

A drug store in Innisfil was evacuated this morning after it was hit by a tractor trailer.

South Simcoe Police Service officers were called to the drug store on Innisfil Beach Road in Alcona at 10:26 a.m. after a tractor trailer making a delivery was maneuvering into place when it struck the store's south wall, causing damage.

There were approximately 40 people inside at the time but all exited safely and no one was hurt.

The store will be closed for the rest of the day. An engineer will attend to assess the damage.
