Police investigate theft at LCBO in Alliston (3 photos)

Three suspects sought

TOWN OF NEW TECUMSETH, ADJALA-TOSORONTIO & ESSA TOWNSHIPS, ON)- On June 18, 2021 at approximately 3:18 p.m., members of the Nottawasaga Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a theft from a local Liquor Control Board of Ontario (LCBO) in Alliston, New Tecumseth.  

Police were informed that on June 17, 2021, between the hours of 2:28 p.m. and 3 p.m. three unknown suspects attended the LCBO and stole two Glenfiddich 15-yr bottles and two Grey Goose bottles, totalling a value of $352.60.    

The suspects were captured on video surveillance and are described as:  

Suspect 1:          

  • East Indian male with heavy stature          
  • Appears to be in mid-30's or 40's          
  • Wearing a black baseball cap, black long sleeve shirt, jeans, dark boots and gold  bracelets on each wrist      

Suspect 2:           

  • Caucasian male with darker-toned skin and medium build, tall          
  • Appears to be in mid-50 or 60's          
  • Wearing a blue baseball cap, white and black checkered long sleeve shirt, jeans, black running shoes and carrying a black shoulder bag    

Suspect 3:          

  • Caucasian male with darker-toned skin and medium to heavy build, tall          
  • Appears to be in mid-30         
  • Wearing white patterned t-shirt and sunglasses, jeans, grey running shoes and pulling around a black bag on wheels      

The investigation is ongoing. Police are requesting the public's assistance in identifying the suspects.
