Police investigating suspicious death after body found on Vaughan road

Investigators with the York Regional Police Homicide Unit are seeking witnesses following a suspicious death in the City of Vaughan.

On Feb. 25, 2021, at approximately 8 a.m., officers received a call regarding a body located at the end of a dead end on Teston Road at Rodinea Road, just east of Keele Street.

When officers arrived, they located an adult male who was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The Coroner attended the scene and deemed the death suspicious. Homicide Unit investigators have taken over the investigation.

The victim has not yet been identified and the cause of death has not been confirmed.

Investigators are appealing to anyone who may have seen anything suspicious in the area, who have not yet spoken to police, to please come forward. They are also appealing to anyone in the area with residential video surveillance that may have captured anything suspicious to please come forward.
