The South Simcoe Police Service is investigating an online threat to a school in the Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury.

On Monday, March 20, 2023, investigators were made aware of a social media post involving a threat of a shooting at Bradford District High School on Tuesday, March 21, 2023.

Police are actively investigating to identify the source and validity of the threat. There will be an increased police presence in and around the school (Tuesday).

We understand the threat is very concerning to students, parents, school staff, administrators, and the community. Police and school officials are working to ensure the safety and well-being of students.

Anyone with information on this incident is asked to contact investigators with the Criminal Investigation Bureau at 905-775-3311. Anonymous information may also be submitted by calling Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477(TIPS).
