On Thursday, Dec. 1, 2022, at approximately 10:18 a.m., the South Simcoe Police Service responded to a Bradford high school for a report of an altercation involving students and a report of a firearm and shots fired.
Police were advised the school had entered into a lockdown. A strong police presence ensued to address the matter and ensure student and faculty safety.
As a result of an investigation, it was determined the report of a weapon or shots was unfounded. The investigation into the altercation is continuing. There were no injuries.
