Traffic complaint leads to impaired driving charges in Bradford

BRADFORD - On Saturday, May 8, 2021 at approximately 9 p.m., South Simcoe Police Service was called regarding a possible impaired driver in Bradford.

Police located the vehicle in the Holland Street and Toronto Street area and conducted a traffic stop. The driver was arrested for impaired driving.

As a result of the investigation, 24-year-old Mitchell Bulai of Bradford was charged with operation while impaired and operation while impaired - excess blood alcohol.  

His vehicle was impounded for seven days and his licence suspended for 90 days. He was released with a future court date.
