Traffic stop results in numerous charges for Innisfil driver

On Sunday, Feb. 14, 2021 at 4 p.m., a South Simcoe Police Service officer conducting traffic enforcement on Killarney Beach Road in Innisfil observed a vehicle with a licence plate violation. A traffic stop was conducted and it was determined the driver was on a criminal code driving suspension.

Fifty-six-year-old Curt Mullin of Innisfil was charged with operation while prohibited, no insurance, drive while under suspension, drive motor vehicle - no validation on plate, use validation not furnished for vehicle, use plate not authorized for vehicle, and fail to apply for permit on becoming owner.

His vehicle was impounded for 45 days.
