Georgian College has confirmed a positive case of COVID-19 at its Barrie campus.
The school made the announcement Thursday afternoon on social media.
The notice says it's a member of their Barrie campus community who was in the culinary lab on Dec. 2 and Dec. 4.
"For extra caution, the rest of those in-person labs are cancelled for this and next week, but online classes will continue," the update says.
The notice also says there’s no need for Georgian students or employees to self-isolate, unless they've been advised to do so by public health officials. Anyone who feels unwell should not attend the campus.
