Public board confirms COVID case at Goodfellow Public School

One class at the Innisfil school has been sent home to quarantine for two weeks and have been encouraged to get tested

The Simcoe County District School Board has confirmed another case of COVID-19 in one of its schools.

Goodfellow Public School, which is located in Innisfil, has one confirmed case of COVID-19 in an individual.

One class has been sent home to quarantine for two weeks and have been encouraged to get a COVID-19 test by the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit.

The school remains open.

This case marks the 10th case of COVID-19 in a school in Simcoe County, the fifth with the public board.
