My family had the pleasure of attending a meet-and-greet with Mississauga Mayor Bonnie Crombie on Saturday in Barrie.

Crombie is running for the leadership of the Liberal Party of Ontario and she spoke to a large crowd about her family, her business background, her political career and why she is running in the Ontario Liberal Party leadership race.

Crombie spoke passionately about [alleged] corruption in the Ford government regarding the Greenbelt scandal.

She also talked about the need for making life more affordable for every Ontarian, Ford's plans to privatize health care, and how we have to deal with the teacher shortage and violence in our schools. She also said that she hopes former Barrie mayor Jeff Lehman will run in a Barrie riding next election.

I was very impressed with Crombie's speech and I will be voting for her in November.

Bonnie Crombie has the strong experienced leadership needed to run the Ontario Liberal Party and the province of Ontario one day as premier. Please sign up to support this wonderful lady. Let's all paint the town red and send Doug Ford and his so-called nation packing.
