LETTER: Khanjin is 'the pot calling the kettle black'

'We just had a provincial budget that did nothing or very little to provide any relief for the hardworking families across the province,' laments letter writer

InnisfilToday welcomes letters to the editor at [email protected]. Please include your daytime phone number and address (for verification of authorship, not publication). The following letter is in response to an article, titled 'Every dollar counts': MPP urges feds to stop carbon tax hike,' published March 29

Regarding the recent news release you published from Barrie-Innisfil MPP Andrea Khanjin - "Every dollar counts': MPP urges feds to stop carbon tax hike," MPP Khanjin recognizes that hardworking families across this province are struggling with the rising cost of living and then she takes a shot at the federal government about carbon taxes.

Well we just had a provincial budget that did nothing or very little to provide any relief for the "hardworking families across the province." The budget spending focus seems to be on building more highways, infrastructure and the business sector.

Isn't this like the pot calling the kettle black?
