Two CF-18s fly over Collingwood and Blue Mountain on April 2, in celebration of the RCAF's 100th anniversary.

Two Canadian air-force jets flew over Collingwood April 2 as part of a day-long celebration of the 100th anniversary of the Royal Canadian Air Force.

The fly-over followed a ceremony at Canadian Forces Base Borden unveiling the Ad Astra monument and re-opening the museum at the base. In the evening, the minister of national defence, Bill Blair, and other dignitaries attended the Centennial Homecoming Dinner at Blue Mountain Resort.

Local photographer Roger Hannon captured this image of the CF-18s flying over Collingwood.
