Comedian Scott Faulconbridge will be performing in Barrie on Sept. 22.

A "renowned comedic genius" is bringing his show to Barrie this week in support of Candlelighters Simcoe and Childhood Cancer Awareness Month.

Scott Faulconbridge's 'Standing Up Comedy Tour' will be at Georgian Theatre on Friday, Sept. 22 with an 8 p.m. showing.

Faulconbridge, whose career spans three decades, "will take the stage to deliver his razor-sharp wit and relatable humour," say organizers.

"His unique blend of observational comedy and hilarious storytelling promises an evening of non-stop laughter and entertainment. Scott's comedic talent has earned him acclaim from Yuk Yuks and CBC Comics, with appearances on Disney, NBC, and Just For Laughs, among others."

Also on the bill as a special guest for the Barrie show is Justin Shaw, who is known for his performances on FibeTV1's Tales from an Island Boy.

"This event is not just about laughter — it's about making a difference," say organizers.

In support of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and Candlelighters Simcoe, a portion of the proceeds will help children and families affected by cancer.
