Saying yes to Encore paid off for Alaine Karry and Kyriakos Sartzetakis of Cookstown. The pair matched the last six of seven Encore numbers in exact order in the February 3, 2021 Lotto 6/49 draw to win $100,000! They also won $2 on another Encore selection brining their total winnings to $100,002.

Alaine said her husband Kyriakos had a good feeling the night before the draw and decided to go pick up some tickets. “The following morning, I checked our tickets using the OLG Lottery App and I saw Big Winner pop up. I went to tell my husband who was sleeping – I had to stop myself from jumping on the bed screaming we won!” she laughed.

Alaine said they were so surprised by their win. “We couldn’t believe it – we are exhausted from all the excitement,” she shared.

The pair said they don’t have any plans for their winnings yet. “We’ll tuck it aside for now, and maybe celebrate with a special dinner,” they concluded.

Encore offers 22 ways to win and can be played in conjunction with most lottery games for an extra $1. There is an Encore draw every day.
