COVID-19 outbreak declared over on RVH's integrated stroke unit

During the outbreak, which was declared on Feb. 3, Barrie hospital says 17 patients and four staff members were affected

A COVID-19 outbreak has been declared over in the Barrie hospital's integrated stroke unit.

Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre (RVH), in collaboration with the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit, made the announcement Thursday morning. 

During the outbreak, which was declared on Feb. 3, RVH says 17 patients and four staff members were affected.

The unit is now open to admissions and visitors.
