Heat warning in effect for:

  • Innisfil - New Tecumseth - Angus
  • Orangeville - Grand Valley - Southern Dufferin County
  • Shelburne - Mansfield - Northern Dufferin County

Extreme heat continues this evening.

With increasing cloud cover and a high chance of precipitation tomorrow, temperatures will be a bit cooler than the past couple days and are forecast to be in the mid to high twenties.

Heat warnings will likely be ended this evening.

A cold front will deliver considerably cooler and less humid air to Southern Ontario on Friday.

Extreme heat affects everyone.

The risks are greater for young children, pregnant women, older adults, people with chronic illnesses and people working or exercising outdoors.

Drink plenty of water even before you feel thirsty and stay in a cool place.
