Innisfil's Biggest Garage Sale aids food bank, seeks volunteers

You can’t pull off a town-wide garage sale without a little help.

This year’s Innisfil’s Biggest Garage Sale is seeking volunteers. The event will take place throughout the municipality on June 1 and 2.  

Proceeds will benefit the Innisfil Food Bank, says Ashley Renard, one of the event organizers.

“We believe that by joining forces, we can make an even greater impact in our community,” she said. “We look forward to (making) this year's garage sale a huge success while supporting the important work of the Innisfil Food Bank.”

Additionally, organizers are in the process of creating a Google Maps feature that will allow shoppers to easily locate all participating homes and sellers, Renard said.
