Calling all new and existing blood donors! Canadian Blood Services is asking Innisfil residents to give the gift of life.
A Blood Donor Clinic will be held at the Innisfil YMCA (7315 Yonge Street) this afternoon from 4:30 - 7:30 p.m.
Donors are encouraged to book and keep their appointments or look for appointments that are open today. Same day and open appointment spots are often available at donation events. Arrive at the donor centre or mobile donation event at your appointment time and then go through a questionnaire and screening process.
Blood donations are always needed because, according to Canadian Blood Services, every 60 seconds someone in Canada needs blood. One in two people in Canada will either need blood or will know someone who does.
