Pop-up testing clinics in shopping malls, more testing options at pharmacies and sending test kits home with students over the holidays are all part of Ontario's enhanced winter strategy.
Minister of Health Christine Elliott, Minister of Education Stephen Lecce and Ontario chief medical officer of health Dr. Kieran Moore made the announcement today.
The aim of the new measures is to remove barriers to testing and provide more rapid results to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
