NEWS RELEASE
TOWN OF INNISFIL
*************************
The popular community-focused event, Neighbourhood Nights, is back for another year.

New this year is an opportunity to meet with the ward councillors of each area to provide and share feedback on the town.

“Based on the success of previous years’ events, we are bringing back Neighbourhood Nights as a way for our community to connect, enjoy free activities and new this year, a chance to meet and chat with council members,” says Mayor Lynn Dollin. “We’ve expanded this year to seven locations over the spring and summer and everyone is welcome to attend. Town council is excited to have this opportunity to connect with residents and answer any questions they may have.”

The events run from 6 to 8 p.m. with many free activities available for families. The Mobile Youth Centre will be on site to offer life-size board games, lawn games, and more. People can also meet with town staff and community partners including the Innisfil ideaLAB & Library, InnPower and InnServices.

The schedule is:

  • May 30 — Ward 2 (Coun. Grace Constantine) at the Morgan Russell Memorial Arena and Community Centre
  • June 5 — Ward 3 (Coun. Jennifer Richardson) at Innisfil Town Square
  • June 6 — Ward 5 (Coun. Linda Zanella) at Leonard’s Beach
  • June 22 — Ward 6 (Coun. Robert Saunders) at The Wheel (Sandycove)
