Council approved staff proceeding with the appropriate planning approvals on May 25.

The planning approval takes into consideration design, tendering, contract award, site preparation, and construction of the Simcoe Manor and Village redevelopment, and the pursuit of federal and provincial funding that may be made available that can be applied directly to the project.
