Here are just some of the stars performing at Starstruck.

Cornelia Luna

Cornelia Luna is known for having performed on Broadway, London’s West End, as well as national/international tours.

Roles include Grizabella in Cats, Fantine in Les Misérables, Tuptim in The King and I, Ellen and Kim in Miss Saigon, lead vocalist in Cameron Mackintosh’s Hey! Mr. Producer, and Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Music of the Night.

Described as an “artist of the first order” by the Toronto Music Report, Cornelia Luna released an independent album titled Starting Here, Starting Now, which has received spectacular reviews.

Raphael Weinroth-Browne

Internationally renowned Canadian cellist and composer Raphael Weinroth-Browne has been celebrated for his emotive and virtuosic playing.

Raphael has defied traditional notions of how the cello should sound and developed a unique artistic voice that has resonated with listeners on a deep emotional level.

He has played on Juno-award-winning albums, performed in front of over 40,000 people at the world’s biggest metal festival, and worked closely with contemporary dancers on multidisciplinary collaborations.

Tessa Alves

Tessa Alves is a true triple threat. Born and raised in Brampton, Ont., Alves has been involved in celebrated musical theatre productions across Canada including several years in Mirvish productions, and New York.

Favourite credits include Rock of Ages, Beetlejuice, Diana: The Musical, Escape from Margaritaville and West Side Story — all on Broadway.

Tessa moved back to Canada from New York in 2022 and, along with performing, has become a dance instructor.

Ryan Allen

Ryan Allen is an actor and singer who is equally at home in opera, theatre and on screen.

Described as having a “rich tenor that gracefully glides” (CBC), Ryan began his 2024 season as the tenor soloist in the Guelph Symphony Orchestra’s performance of Mozart’s Requiem.

As a theatre artist, Ryan made his Broadway debut as the General in The Book of Mormon, called “the best musical of the century” (the New York Times). Most notably he has also been seen as Mister in the Canadian premiere and tour of The Color Purple, and as Jabulani in the world premiere of Sousatzka at the Elgin Theatre.

On screen, Ryan’s work has spanned a variety of networks and streamers with highlights including a series lead role on Between (Netflix), a recurring guest star on John Ridley’s Five Days at Memorial (Apple TV+) and as Jack Drake in the DC Universe on Titans (HBO Max).

Gabi Epstein

Hailed “Canada’s Queen of Cabaret” by CTV, Gabi is a DORA award winner and one of Canada’s leading stage performers best known for playing Audrey in Little Shop of Horrors at the Stratford Festival and Fanny Brice in Funny Girl at the Segal Centre and in concert for the Harold Green Jewish Theatre.
