Weather advisory in effect for:

  • Innisfil - New Tecumseth - Angus

Winter weather travel advisory in effect for tonight.

This winter weather travel advisory has been upgraded from a special weather statement that was previously in effect.

Hazards:
Snow and ice pellets with amounts near 5 cm and local amounts up to 10 cm possible.
Risk of freezing rain and freezing drizzle. Untreated surfaces may become icy and slippery.

Timing:
Tonight into early Tuesday morning.

Discussion:
The precipitation will likely begin as snow early this evening and then become mixed with ice pellets after midnight. There is a risk of freezing rain or freezing drizzle overnight into Tuesday morning.

Prepare for quickly changing and deteriorating travel conditions. Take extra care when walking or driving in affected areas.
