Two local politicians are teaming up for a Family Skate on Saturday at Sadlon Arena in Barrie.
Barrie-Innisfil MP John Brassard and Barrie-Innisfil MPP Andrea Khanjin will host the event on Feb. 25 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the south-end rink, located at 555 Bayview Dr.
Admission is free and all are welcome.
“I’ve really missed the annual community skate with Barrie-Innisfil families over the past few years,” Brassard said in a news release. “This is a fun, family-friendly event and I’m looking forward to seeing some familiar faces and meeting some new families who have moved to the area since our last skate.”
Hot chocolate will be available.
“I’m pleased to once again join MP Brassard to host this free community event and we invite everyone to drop by the Sadlon Arena this Saturday to say hello, enjoy a fun family activity for free, and to skate where the Colts skate,” Khanjin said.
