The Mariposa School of Skating is celebrating its 50th anniversary with the Barrie Skating Club next month by holding a spring gala.
Skaters from both clubs will take to the ice April 10 at the Allandale Recreation Centre, showcasing their own members alongside provincial, national and international competitors.
Barrie Skating Club champions, Mariposa Synchro teams and national ice dancers, pairs and singles will be among those featured.
The event takes place from 1:30-3:30 p.m. in support of Barrie Families Unite. Entry is a non-perishable food item or a cash donation.
