June 26, 1947 – December 20, 2020

Leonard Thomas Frank Gladding, known affectionately as Len, was born in Toronto, a city that would shape the beginnings of his remarkable journey on June 26, 1947. His life's story, however, reached its final chapter on December 20, 2020, in Thornton Ont, where he departed peacefully surrounded by his loved ones after bravely facing the challenges brought on by Cancer.

Len was a man of many facets - a loving husband to Dorry Gladding, a devoted father to Chad Gladding, a cherished brother to Wayne Gladding and brother-in-law to Chris Gladding. Among those who mourn his loss are his adoring grandchildren, Amy and Cole Gladding. In the embrace of sadness, they find solace knowing that Len now rests in eternal peace.

In reflecting upon Len's life, one cannot overlook the indelible mark left by his late father Len Frederick Gladding and mother Doreen Hardcastle. Their legacy lives on through Len's unwavering love and the values he instilled in those around him. Additionally, the presence of June Lillian Gladding (Mom) added warmth and depth to Len's familial bonds throughout the years.

With a spirit as vibrant as the memories he created with family and friends alike, Len's absence will be deeply felt but his enduring love will continue to resonate within the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him. His profound impact on those around him serves as a testament to a life lived with kindness, compassion, and an unwavering dedication to his loved ones.

As we bid farewell to Leonard Thomas Frank Gladding in body but not in spirit, let us find comfort in our shared memories of a life well-lived and a legacy that will forever endure. May he rest in peace knowing that he was truly cherished and will always be remembered with deep affection and gratitude.

Please join the family at the memorial gathering that will be held on March 30, 2024 2:30-4:00 PM at the Innisfil Funeral Home in honour of Leonard and Dorothy Gladding.
