Assault incident under investigation

On Sunday, Aug. 23, 2020 around 12:45 a.m., South Simcoe Police Service officers responded to a disturbance call in the James Street and 25th Sideroad area of Innisfil.

Once on scene, police learned that two unknown men showed up uninvited at a party and began disrupting the gathering. The men were asked to leave which led to a physical altercation on the street outside the residence. Three people were assaulted by the men. One of the suspects damaged a vehicle that was parked on the street before both suspects rode away on bicycles. One person was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The suspects are described as:

    •    Suspect #1: White, approximately 24-25, shoulder-length blonde hair, chest tattoo showing through open shirt, skinny, tall but under 6 feet
    •    Suspect #2: White, approximately 24-25, shoulder-length blonde hair, both arms tattooed, skinny, tall but under 6 feet, grey sweatpants, possibly black shirt
