TOWN OF NEW TECUMSETH, ADJALA-TOSORONTIO AND ESSA TOWNSHIPS - Members of the Nottawasaga Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) initiated a vehicle stop in Angus, Essa Township.
On Jan. 2, 2023 at approximately 2:10 a.m., police entered an investigation during a vehicle stop.
As a result of the investigation, 19-year-old Dani Slaiwa of Bradford was charged with the following under the Cannabis Act:
• Possessing cannabis for the purpose of selling
• Possession of over 30g dried cannabis (or equivalent) in a public
The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Bradford on Feb. 9, 2023.
