Innisfil man charged with impaired after call from citizen

At approximately 10:45 p.m. on Friday, officers with the South Simcoe Police Service responded to a report of a possibly impaired driver in the area of 25th Sideroad and Innisfil Beach Road in Innisfil. 

Police responded to the report and located the vehicle at a residence.

As a result, Gary Bilous, 41, of Innisfil was charged with operation while impaired, and operation while impaired - excess blood alcohol. His licence was suspended for 90 days and his vehicle impounded for seven days as well.

A Bradford driver has been charged following separate reports of a potentially impaired driver in the area of Highway 400 and County Road 88 in Bradford on Sunday night.

At approximately 11:15 p.m., officers responded to the reports and ultimately located the vehicle in an area parking lot.

An investigation let to Bernard Peprah, 42, of Bradford being charged with operation while impaired, operation while impaired - excess blood alcohol, and having care or control of a motor vehicle with liquor readily available. His licence was suspended for 90 days and his vehicle impounded for seven days in addition to the charges.

None of the allegations against either of the accused have been tested in court.
