Lawnmower driver sent to hospital after collision with car

Driver of commercial-type contractor's grass cutter taken to hospital by paramedics

A collision Thursday evening in Bradford has sent one man to hospital with unknown injuries.

Around 7 p.m., Aug. 17, Bradford firefighters, South Simcoe police and paramedics were called to a collision between a commercial-type contractor's mower and a car on Simcoe Road.

The operator of the mower was ejected from the machine. He was transported to Southlake Regional Health Centre in Newmarket by paramedics.

Simcoe Road remained closed for investigation just south of Catania Avenue shortly before 9 p.m.
