The South Simcoe Police Service is investigating a fatal motorcycle collision in the Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury.

On Wednesday, July 27, at approximately 3:30 p.m., police, Bradford Fire and Simcoe County Paramedics responded to a report of a single-vehicle collision involving a motorcycle on Canal Road near Fraser Street. The motorcycle lost control and struck a guardrail. The lone male rider was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced deceased. Next of kin have not yet been notified.

Canal Road remains closed from Fraser Street to Simcoe Road for collision reconstruction by Traffic Unit officers.
