On Wednesday, May 18, 2022 at approximately 5:20 p.m., a man operating a black Dodge Caravan attended the Shell Gas station on King Street North in Cookstown. The man pumped over $100 worth of gas and drove off without attempting to pay. He passed another vehicle exiting the gas station in a dangerous manner and fled northbound on County Road 27 at a high rate of speed.
