Police are investigating the report of a sexual assault Friday at a business in Alliston.
Nottawasaga OPP says the assault was reported to have happened in the area of Victoria and Paris streets between 4 and 4:30 p.m. The victim was working at a business when an unknown man entered and began touching the victim inappropriately and soliciting sex, according to a news release.
The suspect is described as 30 to 40 years old, standing about five-foot-five, with a slim build, dark brown skin, dark, short, groomed hair, dark eyes, clean shaven, and he spoke with a slight accent. He was wearing a fitted black jacket, dark jeans, black boots, and a small black backpack.
Police are asking anyone who was in the area during the time of the incident and saw anything suspicious, or has any information or video footage, to call OPP at 1-888-310-1122. Information can be provided anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or crimestopperssdm.com.
Police said more information will be released when it is available.
